Know the rules. Then take a position.
Test PPL only. No real-money assets, token sales or monetary prizes.
01 / Fully backed
1 test PPL creates one Yes and one No position. Equal pairs can be merged before finalization for 1 PPL. Winning positions redeem for 1 PPL, losing ones for 0.
02 / Participant orders
On-chain limit orders escrow PPL for buys or positions for sells. Participants fill orders wholly or partially. No AMM, seeded liquidity or guaranteed fills. Price and quantity step: 0.0001; exact arithmetic in 18-decimal atoms.
03 / Coinbase conditions
Daily BTC-USD and ETH-USD use the confirmed close of the previous day's final one-minute candle as reference. Trading closes at 23:59 UTC. The 23:59–00:00 candle determines the outcome: Yes if its close is strictly above the reference; equality or a lower price means No.
04 / Waiting and cancellation
First reading at least 2 minutes after the candle ends. Two identical complete candles at least 1 minute apart. Failures retry with increasing delays up to 15 minutes. At 24 hours after the candle ends, if unresolved, anyone can cancel: each Yes or No pays 0.5 test PPL. No exchange fallback or manual arbitration.
05 / Funds & fees
App fee 0; network gas separate. Cancel orders to recover escrow, redeem free positions, withdraw credited PPL from Portfolio. Administrator cannot withdraw participant funds.
06 / Oracle trust
The contract verifies reports signed by the configured oracle; it cannot call Coinbase directly. Coinbase does not sign API responses. The oracle is trusted to fetch and compare both readings honestly. On-chain prices, timestamps and evidence hashes are public. A later API revision does not reopen a settled market. If the oracle stops, an unresolved market can be cancelled 24 hours after the candle ends.
